About MyTDEECalculator
Welcome to MyTDEECaculator. Our goal is simple: to make it easy for anyone to understand how many calories their body burns each day, without confusing formulas or complicated tools.
What We Do
Your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) is the number of calories you burn in a day, including your resting metabolism and your physical activity. Our free calculator estimates it from your age, sex, height, weight and activity level. If you know your body fat percentage, you can enter it for a more tailored result.
From your TDEE, you can plan a calorie target to lose weight, maintain your weight or build muscle.
How Our Calculator Works
We use well-known, research-backed equations to estimate your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), then adjust it for your activity level:
- Mifflin-St Jeor equation: our default, widely considered reliable for most people.
- Katch-McArdle equation: used when you provide your body fat percentage.
- Revised Harris-Benedict equation: available for those who prefer it.
These are estimates, not exact measurements. Everyone’s metabolism is slightly different, so treat the result as a starting point and adjust based on your real-world progress.
Why We Built This Site
We wanted a fast, clean and honest calculator that works on any device and doesn’t ask you to sign up. We keep improving the site, and your feedback helps us do that.
